-Being a student
What I Won't Miss:
-Feeling like an epic failure when I don't do well
-Boring professors
-Feeling completely overscheduled
-Homework
-The testing center
I'll always love Landon for the way he has encouraged me in getting my degree. We met my second semester here, so it has been a team effort for sure. A lot of people are against getting married in school (and I used to be one of them), but being married to Landon through school has been such a blessing. Having him to rely on when I'm sick, having him bring me things from home I've forgotten, and having him there cheer me on at choir events or ad competitions has made all the difference-not to mention just being awesome. I'm grateful for the blessing of my education, for the things I learned that have helped me grow, and I'm grateful for the man who helped make it possible. (He only has a year left for his bachelors and then it's grad school time)!
I'm grateful for my parents who made me believe I could do anything. They are the most incredible people (Even those who aren't related to them agree). If I had a nickel for every time I had someone say, "I wish my dad was more nice/sweet/thoughtful/kind like yours" or "I wish I could talk/laugh/hang with my mom like you do with yours." I've heard it my whole life, and I'll forever love them for being the perfect example of what parents should be.

History of Creativity Project
For my History of Creativity final project, we were asked to do something that relates to the class and pushes our own creativity. Vague, right? I hate vague, but I enlisted the help of these lovely ladies to create...three cakes that summarize the class! We've got the castle cake to represent the old world monarchy, the Bible cake to represent the printing press, and the US flag cake to represent modern democracy.
Guess what else? I FINISHED MY FINALS, and it's GRADUATION TIME! I didn't get nostalgic till I finished my last final. Now I'm getting all sentimental, but I'm really excited about the idea of not having any more homework! Bring on summer goals! I'm starting with finishing Harry Potter (I've only read through #4), and I've signed up for a cake decorating class in May! Wish me luck!

We Found A New Apartment!
And it's beautiful, and it's new(er), and it doesn't have a popcorn ceiling that falls on us if we hit it at all, and Landon won't hit his head on the ceiling because it's TALL, and it's not in a basement, and there's a DISHWASHER and a GARBAGE DISPOSAL, and there won't be a creepy old man that sits outside of it for no apparent reason, and no one can call it a "dive" or an "asbestos trap," and there won't randomly be standing water in the bathroom-or the laundry room, and my mom won't say, "It's a good thing they're in love" when describing it, and there are doors on the closets, and it looks like a HOME and I'M SOO EXCITED! I don't want to study! I want to PACK! We've lived here for a year and a half! Let's get a move-on! :)
