WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE?

Getting married in February sure has its perks, like getting tons of Valentine's Day decorations for the wedding!

Placemats, cups, plates-I love it!

CAR SHOW!

We went to the car show! Landon likes big trucks...if you ever want to feel completely stupid and out of your element, feel free to attend one! All I could say was "cute" and "pretty color." I COULD explain why the Jeep's exhaust pipe came out the top though; Landon was so proud :)

Subaru...bringing people together! I laughed so hard when I saw this businessman next to a mechanic and two teenage-looking scrubs all enjoying the Subaru videos! Priceless!

The place looked like Disneyland for grown-up boys: Roadsigns and streets to walk on to 'admire' the cars. I am DEFINITELY not their target market, but I did witness some brilliant advertising! I mean people (like Landon) actually like this stuff! It blows my mind!

In case you're wondering, Jeeps have the exhaust pipe on the top, because people with Jeeps go through mud puddles and rivers in them! And the exhaust just goes out the top! I only know that, because I asked him when doing a Jeep ad for class! I tell ya-it's nice picking his brain for the ad campaigns directed at guys that I do for school!

I literally had to run and jump to get into this truck! Even with the ladder thing! Landon loved it (of course) it was huge!

FLASHBACKS

So Landon and I first met at EFY; I was 16, he was almost 19 and a month away from his mission. When we started dating (post-mission), we pulled out our old pictures and laughed at how ridiculous we looked. Despite how the pictures seem, we didn't hang out at all at EFY. Every girl in the group had a picture of them with all the boys. If I remember right, Landon just pulled me onto his lap, and I remember feeling beyond embarressed! I guess he has always been the forward type! :)

Landon says that he asked me to take a picture, and I grabbed my BFF Andrea to hop in with me. I don't remember that conversation, but it's definitely something I would have done. We hardly knew each other for crying out loud! :)

And then there's Landon with all the girls in the group. If only we had known our paths would cross 2.5 years later...our EFY counselors would have been so proud! :)

ENGAGEMENTS!

Landon's cousin Carly is getting into photography and asked if we would take 'engagements' with her!

It was way fun and way cold!

She is really talented!

THE START OF SOMETHING NEW!

New haircut!

New Room! Before...
After! We spent 10+ hours reorganizing the back room, and it looks so much better now!

I married a handyman! He built a bunch of shelves and broke down an entertainment center that was just taking up space, and now we have a ROOM instead of mass chaos! IT'S SO GREAT!

Miller family temple trip!

WHAT ARE YOU DOIN NEW YEAR'S EVE?

I totally love the song "What are You Doin New Year's Eve"-especially the Clay Aiken version! Anyway, we had a blast at Landon's parents house for New Year's Eve. It was our first New Year's together! Last year we were engaged but had to be apart! LAME :)

We played with Savannah for most of the night! I love this picture, because both Landon and his little cousin have the coolest blue eyes!

I found my true calling as a drummer with the latest in Wii fun. I feel like a lot of my posts have included Rock Band and the like-even though we don't have it! It's way fun though!

I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS!

It was so much fun going home for Christmas! Andrea threw a party, and we got to see lots of friends that we haven't seen in a while! Landon and Rachel tried sushi for the first time! And they liked it! Landon is slowly and carefully making me an outdoors person, and I am slowly and carefully making him like Japanese food! YUM!

Soup, salad, and breadsticks with my bestest friends! It was so fun!

Sisters, sisters, never were there such devoted (or squished) sisters!

We baked and baked and baked! And then went carolling in true Miller fashion! :) So fun!
