I graduated from college
...without ever missing a reading assignment
...without ever ditching class
...without ever pulling an all-nighter (Well, for studying purposes)
...without ever calling in sick to work
...I might be a nerd.

Ministering Couple
Landon and I were called to be the ministering couple on Sunday! We're pretty excited. It's basically the young single adult rep-married couple style. We're supposed to keep track of and fellowship the thirty 18-30-year-olds in the ward. I've interpreted it as: Throw a lot of parties and make new friends, which is pretty much the coolest calling in the world, right? It should be fun!

Summer Goals
Graduated life is awesome, and I've gotten a lot of my summer goals done!
-Watched Harry Potter 1-4 (I read them years ago and needed to remember)
-Began reading Harry Potter 5 (Loving it)
-Started my cake decorating class (Someday I will become a domestic diva :))
-Planted pretty flowers (Hoping they'll survive the cold spell)
-Landon and I started P90X! (OW)
-Getting our LOST on (It's my passion)
I HEART SUMMER!

Ode to College
What I'll Miss:
-The beautiful and inspiring campus
-Feeling like there's so much to learn
-Feeling very accomplished at the end of each day
-Professors
-Friends
-The getting a good grade feeling
-Devotionals
-Being a student
What I Won't Miss:
-Feeling like an epic failure when I don't do well
-Boring professors
-Feeling completely overscheduled
-Homework
-The testing center
I'll always love Landon for the way he has encouraged me in getting my degree. We met my second semester here, so it has been a team effort for sure. A lot of people are against getting married in school (and I used to be one of them), but being married to Landon through school has been such a blessing. Having him to rely on when I'm sick, having him bring me things from home I've forgotten, and having him there cheer me on at choir events or ad competitions has made all the difference-not to mention just being awesome. I'm grateful for the blessing of my education, for the things I learned that have helped me grow, and I'm grateful for the man who helped make it possible. (He only has a year left for his bachelors and then it's grad school time)!
I'm grateful for my parents who made me believe I could do anything. They are the most incredible people (Even those who aren't related to them agree). If I had a nickel for every time I had someone say, "I wish my dad was more nice/sweet/thoughtful/kind like yours" or "I wish I could talk/laugh/hang with my mom like you do with yours." I've heard it my whole life, and I'll forever love them for being the perfect example of what parents should be.
