Least. Favorite. Ever.

Getting my haircut is the bane of my existence. Top nine reasons why.

1.) Time. No time to get it done.
2.) Money. Spending the money to get it done is so annoying.
3.) Straight or curly. How do I wear my hair when I get it done? Each hair stylist has their own opinion, and I feel like I do it the wrong way each time I get it done.
4.) Style. I feel like I can get a haircut that is cute if I always do it straight or if I always do it curly but rarely both. Even though it's curly 90% of the time, I like to spice up my life every once in a while!
5.) Small Talk. Is it more awkward to ask them personal details about their life or sit in silence? I definitely ask questions but try to avoid answering any myself.
6.) Getting ready. Do I get ready and go, do I wake up and go, do I shower and go with my hair wet? Sometimes I go for a run, see there's no line, and get it done when I'm all gross. I don't think they like that very much.
7.) Mirror. Whose idea is this? It would be stellar if they turn me around, so I don't have to stare at myself the whole time, especially since they look gorgeous, and I usually just wake up and go over there.
8.) Tip. How much do you tip? And what's the basis of the tip? How fast they were? How talkative they were? If you like the haircut? It's all so subjective. I think I always over-tip, cause I don't know what to do, or maybe I under-tip! I don't even know
9.) How often. I haven't cut my hair since Christmas. Is it about time? :) Probably.

Lasagna & American Idol

My sister-in-law Rachel and I are trying to become domestic divas! (She is much better at this effort than I am!) We get together to swap recipes and now want to get into the meal-freezing business! Last night, she came over while the boys were doing organic chemistry, and we made lasagna and watched American Idol!

I wasn't expecting it to take so long (which is the story of my cooking career), but it was so fun to do it together! The girl has skills, and it was TASTY!

The Adventures

The Scotties won game 2 in the b-ball tournament! Championship t-shirt, here they come! :)

I love taking their picture after the game. They look exhausted!

Birth Week Continues!

Birthday celebrations continue! Tuesday night, we went to Cafe Rio, saw "Phantom," and opened presents with Landon's family and grandparents, which was so fun! Tuesday morning, Landon made me a delicious breakfast and that night he took me to Tucanos-one word YUM! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I ate everything-including the chicken heart. PS-Pretty sure Landon forgot to smile in this picture lol

We partied at Andrea's after and ate cake!

Yea for birthdays! (I'm four hours older than her, just so you know) I should also mention that thanks to my totally tall sandals, I am taller than Andrea in this picture! This has never happened before!

The Ovard Clan

Landon is such a spoiler. He got me all these clothes and shoes and these flowers and a way cute bag. How many husbands would dare get their wives clothes? But basically they're totally cute and fit perfectly. He ROX! Basically, it was a blast. Lindsay was sweet and brought cookies over-YUM! And my friend Brooke brought chocolate to class for my birthday. It was like elementary school; it was so cute! My parents sent presents up with the Ovards-another season of Gilmore girls and way cute clothes! HOORAY FOR BEING 21!

Birthday...No Birth Week Celebrations

Andrea and I have the same birthday! And we have been celebrating it together since we were in kindergarten. We have been apart for the past two years, but she finally moved back close! So! We spent Saturday redeeming free birthday coupons we got! Which included a free burger at Red Robin!

And we got free Cold Stone! YUM!!! We got all the coupons on http://freebies4mom.blogspot.com/ btw-cause I know you're dying to get some of this free-ness for yourself.

And a half off coupon at Orange Julius! We decided their smoothies taste AMAZING-maybe even better than Jamba Juice!

And we spent most the time in between giggling, window shopping, watching Gilmore girls, and trying to decide important things like-who should Lorelai be with? LUKE OF COURSE! :)

And we tried to redeem our free Schlotzky's deli coupon, but they apparently don't have them in Utah, so we went to my place and made dinner.

This stuff was good! It was spaghetti, butter, chicken, and a billion seasonings. TASTY! It was a party from about 10AM-8PM-yeah, amazing!

St. Patrick's Day Celebrations

St. Patrick's Day pancakes! The green kind of grossed me out, so I chose not to eat any! lol-but Landon liked them. He later confessed he couldn't really tell they were green since he's color blind (which is probably why he didn't think they looked gross)! But it's the thought that counts, right? :)

Green cupcakes!
